Olari Elts appointed as Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra from 20/21

Today, the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (ENSO) announces in a press conference that Olari Elts will become ENSO’s Music Director and Chief Conductor from the 2020/2021 season, for an initial period of three seasons. His first concert with ENSO took place in 1998 and he has been the Principal Guest Conductor of ENSO since 2007.

Maestro Elts to Conduct Mendelssohn’s Complete Midsummer’s Night Dream

Olari Elts joins forces with NO99 theatre the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra and girls’ choir Ellerhein to stage Mendelssohn’s Midsummer’s Night Dream in its rarely heard entirety. Nine performances with the full play are planned through summer 2016 at the Estonia Concert Hall.
