Midsummer Night's Dream at Konzerthaus Berlin

On the 6th of October Olari Elts conducts the German premiere of a special production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Konzerthaus Berlin.
Olari Elts will conduct the Konzerthausorchester Berlin in a genre-crossing performance that combines music and theatre. The Estonian theatre company NO99 will perform Shakespeare’s classic, using the latest technology. The actors and actresses are filmed live and their close-ups are projected to a ball that hangs above the stage, on which the orchestra performs Mendelssohn's music. The premiere at the Konzerthaus Berlin is the first time this production is performed outside of Estonia. Further dates are the 7th and 8th of October at 7 P.M.
